we(e) believe literacy is fundamental to education and skills creation; that these enable a sustainable future. And that literacy is a lifelong process, built on quality early primary literacy education and the fostering of a love of books, reading and learning.

At we(e)press, our books do double duty.

we(e)press books can be found in African schools and libraries, where they are helping to foster learning and the love of reading.

And here in the developed world we're connecting with kids with our great books, and sharing our Education For All message. But, importantly, we're also creating opportunities for children to help other children by helping them to go to school and to learn to read.

Our talented authors and illustrators have donated their work so that we(e) can direct maximum proceeds straight to programs that enhance education and literacy opportunities in sub-Saharan Africa through our awesome program partner, CODE, who've been working in education development in Africa for 50 years www.codecan.org

Every dollar we send to CODE is matched with another $3 by the Canadian International Development Agency, and goes straight to work in CODE Africa programs.
